CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ARTICLES OFFERED FOR SALE
The characteristics of the articles including the selling price, are reported on the online catalog and visible at every stage of compilation of the order before the conclusion of the contract. All prices include VAT.
The Company warrants that the products shipped are the same as those listed on the site.
In the event that, upon delivery, the product is visibly damaged or does not conform to the order (vintage or company different from that requested) the Company, provided it receives notice within 24 hours of delivery of the package, guarantees replacement at its own expense within and no later than 30 days from the date of delivery.
In the case in which the package to the arrival appears damaged or in the case in which the number of the sent packages does not correspond to the order we recommend not to accept the goods or to insert in the document of transport the wording “with reserve”.
The conditions of sale of each product are those reported and visible on our website during the compilation of the order before the conclusion of the same. The Company reserves the right to update the conditions and prices of sale at any time and without notice. All prices are in Euro and include VAT.
The order transmitted will be considered concluded and binding for the Company only when the customer receives confirmation of acceptance by email. Following this confirmation email, the customer is required to verify the copy of the order and promptly report any errors.
Following each order will be issued a regular invoice (if expressly requested during the compilation of the order) or receipt, which will then be attached to the products purchased.

METHOD OF PAYMENT
The products ordered will be delivered to the address indicated at the time of order. The delivery times shown on our website are based on product availability and delivery times indicated by the carriers. In the event that for a technical error the product you have chosen is not currently available you will be notified by e-mail of any delay in delivery so you can confirm your order or not.
The Company assumes no responsibility for any delays due to carrier strikes or any category affecting the road system.
Our couriers deliver during normal business hours (Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm). For this reason it is recommended to choose an address for delivery where the courier can certainly find someone to make the delivery and possibly report a time slot and, if it is a business even the possible day of closure. It is also advisable to leave a telephone number in order to facilitate the work of the courier if the address is not found.
If a second delivery is necessary because there is no one at the destination to receive the goods or because the address given at the time of the order is incorrect, the additional costs will be borne by the recipient and the Company assumes no responsibility.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
n reference to Legislative Decree 22 May 1999 no. 185 and in implementation of Directive 97/7/EC on the protection of consumers in respect of distance contracts, the customer has the right to terminate the purchase, without penalty and without specifying the reason within 10 days of receipt of goods.
Notice of withdrawal must be sent by registered letter with return receipt to “Società Agricola Cava d’Onice s.s., Pod. Colombaio 105, 53024 Montalcino (Siena), Italy”; such communication may also be anticipated by fax or e-mail, provided that it is confirmed by registered letter with return receipt within the following 48 hours. Motivation is irrelevant. An indication of the causes of the request for withdrawal, if this depends on us, would still help us to improve the service. The refund will be made by bank transfer or other system that we will be reported in the letter of withdrawal and will take place as soon as possible and in any case no later than 30 days from the time when we came to know the will to withdraw from the purchase. The goods must not have been opened, deprived of the wrapping or parts of the same and must not show signs of tampering. In no case will be accepted return shipments in cash on delivery.
SHIPPING COSTS FOR THE RETURN WILL BE BORNE ENTIRELY BY THE CUSTOMER. The Company is not responsible for any damage to products occurred during the return shipment of the same. Should the company receive damaged or tampered return products, or should it not receive the relevant delivery, it will not refund the amount paid for the purchase of the same. It is therefore recommended to use for the return of goods a suitable courier and that guarantees the traceability of the shipment. The legislation on the right of withdrawal finally does not apply when the buyer is a trader or a retailer.
